Technical Details

Dear customers,

Below you’ll find some information about the different types of transfer. As a registered user you can find further technical information and transfer parameters in the Download section. Indications of specific types of transfer

Direct flocking

With the technical capabilities direct flocking offers nowadays even multi-colour printing or halftone prints are possible. Jerseys, T-shirts, sweatshirts, track suits and similar textiles are produced in the standard configuration. Here dispersion adhesives are used, which comply with the “Öko-Tex 100 Standard”. Rain jackets, bags and similar products are printed with solvent-based adhesives.

Films: silk screen films, positive, laterally correct. For multi-colour flocking special requirements must be met. Please turn to us for advice in such cases.

Direct printing

The size of the print pattern and colour variety depend on the technical equipment available in the print plant. Most of the machines are able to print 4 to 6 colours, sometimes even 8 to 12 colours.

Films: silk screen films, positive, laterally correct

Offset nyloflex transfer

Using offset nyloflex transfer makes it possible to realize motifs with colour gradients.

Films: offset films, positive, laterally correct. The adhesive film consists of a fully filled surface, which contains all colors and has to be a bit smaller than the motif (0.5-1.0 mm).

Soft transfer (hot split)

Very fine contours and lines can only be produced by applying transparent pre-print colour. As a consequence the hiding power and the soft handle are of lower quality.

Films: silk screen films, positive, side-inverted

Offset plastisol transfer

Using offset plastisol transfer makes it possible to realize motifs with colour gradients.

Films: offset films, positive, laterally correct. The adhesive film consists of a fully filled surface, which contains all colors and has to be a bit smaller than the motif (0.5-1.0 mm).

Plastisol transfer (also known as cold-peel or polyprint transfer)

Via plastisol transfer designs with fine structures, lines or points can be realized. The production in screen printing allows using a grid pattern of up to 24 dots / cm. To ensure the transfer of the halftone dots, the whole substrate surface has to be back-printed (white).

Films: silk screen films, positive, side-inverted

Flock transfer

Designs with fine structures are hard to realize. Lines should have a minimum width of 0.7 mm (if you are not sure, just show us your motif). Using flock fibres of different length (0.5 mm for monochrome and 0.3 mm for multicolor transfers) it is possible to get relief-like structures.

Films: silk screen films, positive, side-inverted, for multi-colour transfers special requirements must be met (possibly overprint is required).
